Anti-Competition Statement

Anti-Competition Disclaimer

At LuxeFloors Co., we operate with full compliance under UK and international competition laws, ensuring a fair and transparent market for consumers. We have previously encountered attempts to restrict fair competition, including pricing pressures, coercion, and anti-competitive behavior. As a result, we are taking a firm stance to protect our business, our customers, and market integrity.

Our Commitment to Fair Pricing & Market Freedom

As a fully independent retailer, we alone determine our pricing strategy based on market conditions, consumer demand, and business sustainability. We will not be pressured, threatened, or coerced into compliance with unlawful pricing agreements or any attempt to restrict competition in the flooring industry.

What is Illegal Under UK Competition Law?

Under The Competition Act 1998 and The Enterprise Act 2002, it is illegal for manufacturers, suppliers, or retailers to:

Fix Prices – No company can dictate, enforce, or require a set price on independent retailers. Retailers have the legal right to set their own prices.

Collude to Maintain High PricesAny agreement between competitors or suppliers to artificially inflate prices is illegal and subject to prosecution.

Engage in Cartel-Like Behavior – Any coordinated action to control market prices, divide sales territories, or manipulate supply is a criminal offense, punishable by fines and imprisonment.

Threaten or Penalize Retailers for Discounting Below RRP – Attempts to force price increases, remove discounts, or pressure retailers into uniform pricing violate UK and EU competition law.

Unfairly Restrict Market Access – Any attempt to blacklist, withhold supply, or refuse trade based on independent pricing decisions can be reported to regulators.

Legal Consequences for Anti-Competitive Practices

⚠️ Fines of up to 10% of global turnover for companies engaging in anti-competitive behavior.

⚠️ Director disqualification for up to 15 years, with personal liability for company executives.

⚠️ Criminal prosecution, with up to 5 years in prison for individuals involved in price-fixing or market collusion.

⚠️ Civil lawsuits from affected businesses or consumers, leading to damages and financial penalties.

A Clear Warning to Those Seeking to Restrict Competition

LuxeFloors Co. has already experienced attempts by certain parties to influence or interfere with independent pricing strategies. We will not tolerate any further unlawful pressure, coercion, or anti-competitive interference. Any attempt to restrict our ability to sell at fair market prices will be documented and escalated to the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and relevant regulatory bodies.

We believe in open competition and the right for consumers to have access to competitive pricing without industry manipulation.

For any concerns regarding compliance or competition law, all communications should be directed through our legal team.

86 Horseferry Road, London

Westminster, SW1P – 15 mins from Buckingham Palace & Houses of Parliament

This five-flat development in Westminster’s prestigious SW1P postcode was a high-end project with a clear vision: timeless interiors, premium finishes, and a sense of warmth and sophistication throughout.

The developer needed a flooring partner who could deliver not just materials, but the full service—from supply to installation—with an attention to detail that matched the rest of the build. The brief called for something that would bring natural character into the space, while feeling refined and lasting.

We supplied and fitted our own line of 15mm engineered oak flooring, laid in a classic herringbone pattern with a UV-oiled finish to protect the surface and enhance the wood grain’s depth. The rustic-grade oak introduced subtle texture, with each board slightly unique—adding richness that perfectly complements the contemporary flat layout.

For staircases, we installed soft, luxury carpet sourced from Victoria Carpets, adding a warm and quiet touch to the transitions between floors.

Altogether, the result is a space that feels grounded, luxurious, and built to last—flooring that makes an impression, but never shouts.
